I am an applicant or agent. What does it mean for me?

The amount of functionality will depend on which authority you are dealing with, but many facilities are available for the larger majority of authorities.

The new Submitaplan will show you all applications that you have submitted and will let you know if there is anything you need to do. 

The system will allow youto address these issues directly including,

1. Application Client Confirmation Requests
2. Requests to amend details in your application form.
3. Providing new or updated Duty Holder details
4. Responding to Plan checking information requests.
5. See the status of, replying to and chasing requests for payment.
6. Seeing what documents you provided, and uploaded new or amended ones.
7. Viewing, printing or downloading any documents shared with you by the authority, such as certificates and reports.
8. Notifying the authority of legal/statutory commencement.
9. Chasing/supplying completion statements.
10. Seeing what inspections are required.
11. Seeing what inspections are booked and when, requesting them, or cancelling them.
12. Sending queries about your application directly to the person handling your application.

All authorities will have new compliant forms, but be ready to provide contact details for Client, Principal Designer (the person responsible for designing or specifying the works) and Principal Contractor (the person carrying out the building work)
