FREE LABC COURSE - 'Building Made Easy'
LABC is providing a free crash course in ‘Building Made Easy’, with practical presentations from partners and associates. These generally take place in the morning - 7.30am to 11.00 am.
Through these technical seminars learn the latest ways to improve quality and comply with new Building Regulations, hear talks from industry experts, exchange ideas and business cards with fellow builders and have your questions answered by local building control teams.
Session are short and practical, explaining compliance in the context of real work. Topics include fast-track foundations; engineered piping solutions; race to 2016 Zero Carbon; why LABC Registered Construction Details are important; space-saving insulation; why acoustic failure won’t go away and whether claims can be prevented.
The seminars have taken place in Staffordshire, Oxfordshire, London, the South East and the East Midlands.

Thursday 23 April at Tynemouth Golf Club, North Shields, Tyne & Wear
Friday 24 April at St Georges Hotel, Tees Valley, County Durham
Thursday 21 May at Wergs Golf Club, Wolverhampton, West midlands
